Design Concept : South View, Epsom
The approach was to create pockets of space with their own characteristics, such as reading corners in the lobby and articulation of the landing area at loft level. The open plan arrangement is kept to specific areas creating a balance between functional spaces and visual connection. All spaces are flooded with natural daylight and well ventilated. Whilst the view to the garden is celebrated and framed providing a good visual link between internal spaces and the landscaped garden.

Kitchen (before)
Fundamental to our client's needs, the existing kitchen was to be enlarged creating additional space which allowed the adjacent entrance lobby and play room to be reconfigured.
Kitchen (after)
Additional and widened fenestration's provided far greater natural light into the kitchen. Whilst the extension also improved usability offering ample storage in the family home and new areas to entertain guests at the island cooking area.
